SYNYON's hot-pressed molded inductors deliver excellent performance in modern high-frequency switching power supplies (typically DC-DC circuits operating from hundreds of kHz to several MHz, such as multiphase power delivery for GPUs/CPUs), featuring three primary high-frequency characteristics:
First, low parasitic capacitance and high Self-Resonant Frequency (SRF). Benefiting from the hot-pressing molding process and flat-wire winding technology, the coil structure is extremely compact and neatly arranged, effectively reducing inter-turn parasitic capacitance. This gives the product a high SRF, allowing it to maintain pure inductive characteristics within common high-frequency switching bands and preventing filtering failure caused by prematurely entering the capacitive region.
Second, excellent high-frequency low-loss characteristics. We utilize an optimized metal alloy powder formulation to effectively reduce high-frequency hysteresis loss and eddy current loss. Combined with ultra-low DC resistance (DCR), it significantly minimizes overall heat generation under high-frequency, high-current conditions, thereby improving power conversion efficiency.
Third, low EMI interference due to full shielding. The hot-pressed molded structure achieves a fully enclosed magnetic circuit with minimal magnetic flux leakage. During high-frequency switching transients, it effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI) crosstalk to surrounding sensitive signals (such as high-speed communication lines).
Engineering Tip: The inductance value of a power inductor varies with frequency and is limited by the SRF. Engineers are advised to refer to the effective inductance at the corresponding switching frequency in the datasheet during selection, and ensure the operating frequency remains below the product's SRF to guarantee circuit stability.
